Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We’ve provided answers to our most common questions below.
What Insurances Do You Participate With?
We are a Medicare Participating Practice. If you have straight Medicare, we will provide your benefit details and cost-share estimate prior to beginning care with us. We will also bill to Medicare for you. Patient’s who are not covered by Medicare are eligible for our flat, self-payment rate for each visit.
**Important Note: If you have Medicaid secondary to your Medicare, according to Medicaid regulations, our practice is unable to care for you. You must seek care with a provider who participates with both Medicare and Medicaid. We apologize for this inconvenience and are happy to make a recommendation for another provider at your request.
What If I Have A Medicare Replacement Plan? (Such as BCBS Medicare or United HealthCare Medicare?)
The short answer is that it depends on whether you have an out-of-network benefit.
If you DO have an out-of-network benefit, you would pay approximate Medicare rates at the time of service. This estimate would be provided to you when beginning care. You will be provided a receipt or “superbill” as well so that you can submit these to your plan to reimbursement. Our administrative team that is dedicated to helping you navigate out-of-network care has also created a step-by-step guide for submitting these superbills to your payer.
If you DO NOT have an out-of-network benefit, you would be eligible to pay our flat, self-payment rate per visit. This rate will be provided to you by our administrative team that is dedicated to helping patients navigate out-of-network care.
